Kaimanga Lodge and Cottage offers quality and peaceful accommodation, with a choice of a fully Self Contained Cottage or a Bed & Breakfast Suite in the main Lodge. Set on beautiful 6 acre park-like gardens with a secluded swimming pool that offers private relaxation, and is open at all times for our guests. Located just a few minutes from Kerikeri, and the Bay of Island activities and attractions, Kaimanga Lodge and Cottage is a great place to stay when visiting the Bay of Islands, Northland, New Zealand.

Your hosts Susie & Martin have been vegetarian/vegan for most of their lives and are very capable chefs able to prepare delicious and appetising non-meat dishes that rival the best restaurants.

At Kaimanga Lodge we actively encourage responsibility for the environment by using eco-friendly products and techniques wherever possible. By committing in this way, we are endorsed as Kiwi Green Certified.

Our on-going program of planting native NZ trees, and encouraging a wide range of birds and insects is a central part of the Lodge grounds management. We welcome our guests who are encouraged to share our little piece of "Green Heaven", and to enjoy NZ nature at its finest. Visit the local Kauri forests to see magnificent ancient trees, then come and see our baby Kauri's, planted for future generations to enjoy.
